<div>Hi, my name is Jemma and last Sunday, I had to give birth to my baby girl at 24 weeks and 5 days. Little miss Ruby-Mae Rose Blackburn, was sadly born sleeping.

<div>These last few weeks have been so terribly hard for Paul and I. We have had so much support, and are so grateful for every message we have received.

<div>A few weeks ago, at our 20 week scan, there was severe abnormalities found in our beautiful girl, Ruby-Mae’s brain. These abnormalities would have a large effect on Ruby-Mae’s motor skills, and the chance of her having severe disabilities was very high. As well as the risk of lifelong brain surgeries and also constant seizures. The medical professional’s advice was to terminate the pregnancy almost 25 weeks in. The geneticists believe this is genetic and are working to discover exactly what’s caused this to happen. Especially due to the fact that Ruby-Mae’s brain abnormalities are identical to her cousin, Tobias, who she met at the pearly gates when she left us to start her new adventure, and who I’m sure is looking after her for me.

<div>Since we learned this news, we have had to have multiple weeks off work to attend to many, many hospital appointments at multiple hospitals.
</div>

<div>My partner, Paul is a shearer and does not receive bonuses such as sick leave and annual leave, and since we have not been receiving any consistent income for the last 4-5 weeks and Paul is the only person who works in our family, we have found ourselves really struggling financially.
</div>

<div>Next week, our girl will be cremated and we get to see her at a viewing in Fawkner beforehand to say goodbye to our angel for the last time. 
</div>

<div>We can no longer afford for Paul to stay home from work and we are really stressed out because although we desperately need him to go back to work, I really need him to attend the viewing with me and be able to say goodbye to her before her cremation at some stage this week.
</div>

<div>We know that everyone else is struggling as well so if you can spare even $5 to help towards us being a bit more relaxed while dealing with the terrible tragedy of losing our baby girl it would be super appreciated.
