In memory of Avelino Sotelo

A father gone too soon... Avelino was many things to many people, but above all, he was the most loving & dedicated father to Emil, Etienne, Maria & AJ. Those that have been blessed to know him all agree that his love for his children is his greatest legacy. Avelino passed away on Dec 1st. He suffered a combination of heart attack, seizures & respiratory arrest the Friday after Thanksgiving.  Avelino's untimely passing is a tremendous loss to the children that he leaves behind. He passed without a will and did not have any life insurance, savings or retirement savings to leave behind. Avelino always wanted the best for his kids. His constant wish for them to do well in school, to be kind, and to be better resonates within their hearts forevermore. A core group of close friends & family are are working to offset the emotional and financial burden of this hard time for Avelino's children by alleviating their financial stress. Avelino was too special for us not to rally on his behalf when his family needs us the most. While nothing can bring him back to us, we want to do our part to support Avelino's family. We are asking for your generous support for Emil, Etienne, Maria & AJ to assist with school & basic needs during this time and we hope you can help. We hope you will donate if you can.
