In memory of Ami Fiveash - for teen cancer

Donation protected

I am taking part in the world championship AJ Bell Olympic Triathlon in Leeds on the 6th of June 2021. This is a massive challenge for me having not come from a background of any of the disciplines or raced any event before I am doing this in the name of and in memory of a  a dear friend Ami Fiveash.

Ami was diagnosed with stage 4 kidney cancer in 2020 and for a long hard year she fought with her head and heart first. Remaining positive, creative and herself she took her new life under her stride like nothing or no one I’ve seen before. I’m trying to raise money for the teen and young adult ward she was treated on as I cannot imagine what it would be like to be faced with them words, ‘you have stage four cancer’ at aged 19.  Unfortunately Ami didn’t win her battle and passed peacefully on 24/01/21 she was an amazing soul, kind, innovative, strong willed and just beautiful.

I want my act to be an inspiration to all people to push them self and challenge them self and truly live the life that you have. So many of us are unbelievably lucky to have health, youth and vitality and we should be trying to use it for better for service of others. I hope in me taking on this challenge it might push you to do something out your comfort zone.

please check my Instagram with all my training and a video talking more about Ami and the cause @mdsno99

and please check out Ami’s cancer Instagram she had so you can understand what she went through and truly the inspiration she was @ami_and_the_cancer
