On March 17, 2019, Alex Varson suddenly passed away while watching his daughter practice softball. Alex leaves behind his wife Beth Anna and two young children, Connor and Ally.
Both Alex and Beth Anna served their family and community through Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, PTA and many other community organizations. As one could only imagine, this is a tragedy for the Varson family.
I got to know the Varson's through HCYP's softball program. Ally, known as Bob, played with my daughter for several seasons. Alex and Beth Anna were always there encouraging the girls at games and practices. We shared many good times on the fields.
As the family tries to come to terms with the loss of their dad and husband, they need your prayers. Please limit direct communication with the family in the short term. HCYP has setup this Go Fund Me page in honor of Alex and to support future college expenses for Connor and Ally.
