<div>Our family is heartbroken by the sudden loss of Alex Rodriguez, who died unexpectedly on September 28 in Champaign, Illinois. Alex was Emily’s son, and his death has left his family trying to process an unimaginable loss while also facing the unexpected expenses that come with saying goodbye.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>A number of people have reached out asking how they can help. We created this fundraiser as one way to support Emily and our family during this incredibly difficult time. Contributions will help with Alex’s funeral, cremation, memorial, and other immediate expenses related to his passing.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>There is absolutely no expectation to give. Your messages, prayers, thoughts, and support for our family mean more than we can say. For those who would like to help financially, any contribution, regardless of the amount, will be deeply appreciated.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Funds raised will be deposited into the account Emily and I share and used toward Alex’s funeral, cremation, memorial, and related expenses.
</div>

</div>
<div>Thank you for caring about Alex and for surrounding Emily and our family with love and support.
