<div>We are heartbroken to announce the sudden loss of Officer Ifeanyi Madu, a devoted husband, loving father of five, and a courageous defender of our nation. As a Capitol Hill police officer, Ifeanyi bravely stood on the frontlines during the January 6th Capitol attack, putting his life on the line to protect America’s democracy.

<div>Officer Madu was more than just a hero in uniform—he was a son, a brother, and a source of strength for his family and community. He served with unwavering dedication, yet his greatest pride was his role as a loving husband and father. His passing has left his family devastated and facing an uncertain future.
