My name is Giovante and I lost my father on 6-21 at 3:45pm. My father put on a fight like no other and I can't even begin to tell you how strong of a man he was. I'm in tears trying to find the words to write, but this man is/was (using past tense is hard and hurts) the greatest father anyone could ask for. He tirelessly made sure I was okay and safe. He made sure every dream, every possible goal was achievable if I wanted it.

For those who don't know my father, he came from Chad decades ago with a dream and he accomplished everything on his list. He went on being married for 36 years, was a well-respected physician, an amazing father, and a loving pillar in every community he ever entered.

Now that he is gone, he has left me and my mom. We're a small family, but we are a resilient and mighty family. Thank you for all your help, donations, words, and encouragement.
