In Memory of Jake the Snake

Hello everyone...as you may or may not know, my dad Jack Lewis has been in the ICU fighting for his life. We been here about two weeks now and about five days ago, he had to be put on full life support. We had a small fighting chance for him to get better. At this time...this is the one fight we will have to lose gracefully. My dad is an amazing man, father, brother, uncle, friend, co-worker and most importantly beach bum. As it comes time to say goodbye, I’m struck with the reality that this is no easy task. Aside from the emotional pain, there are things I’m not prepared for, expenses I could not predict. We could definitely use some help during this time so I am kindly asking for help from you. Although this won’t get any easier, I can already say I’m surrounded by love and support of all my family and friends, and my dad’s great circles of friends from all over who have reached out. It just goes to show me that when you do good in this world, you leave a footprint in the sand that can’t be erased. The waves may crash but that footprint is felt by many, many beautiful people. I understand that not everyone will be able to help so if that is the case for you, please go to the nearest beach and put your toes in the water. For dad
