In Memoriam of Nurse Jean Ann Forde

Donation protected
Jean Ann Forde lost her mother at the tender age of 16--an experience which shaped her entire life. She followed in her mother's footsteps and sought nursing education in England. Upon completing her licensure, she dedicated her career to Geriatric Nursing. One of her unfulfilled dreams was to return to Trinidad and Tobago to open a Home for the Elderly.

The Forde Family will be starting a non-for-profit organization to deliver services and spearhead projects in honor of Jean Ann Forde which focus on orphans and the elderly in San Fernando, Trinidad West Indies.

HOPE CENTRE
Hope Centre is a charitable non-profit organization for abused and abandoned children. Since 1992, it has provided a temporary home for children between the ages of three and twelve.

HOME FOR THE AGED
As the home to which Jean Forde was a benefactor has since closed, a new institution will be identified in due course.
