In Memoriam - For the Family of Nic Bonotto

On Saturday, January 7, 2023, Nic Bonotto succumbed to his four-year battle with ALS (Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis). ALS is a neurodegenerative disease that results in the progressive loss of muscle control which affects the ability to eat, speak, move, and finally the ability to breathe. Despite his diagnosis in 2019, Nic continued to live an active and full life, travelling with family and friends, watching his beloved San Francisco 49ers, and making wine. Nic was a student of the world, and sought to give back by teaching - he taught History, Art, and Ceramics for nearly 20 years until he was no longer able to work.

Nic was a phenomenal father, husband, brother, and son. He is survived by his adoring wife, Suzie, and his three incredible children - Mason (12), Evie (10), and Ellie (8). As the son of a teacher and a teacher himself, Nic always emphasized the importance of education to his kids, and wished for them to be able to pursue any path they dreamt about. We have established this campaign to support the continuing education of Mason, Evie and Ellie. Any contribution you make will help provide for Nic & Suzie's children and make Nic's wishes for his kids come to fruition.
