In Memoriam Amy Gracia

On Monday December 28, 2020 at 10am, Dr. Amy A. Gracia passed away unexpectedly. Her light, immense faith, unwavering strength, intelligence, wit, optimism, incredible artistic creativity, passion for life, integrity, compassion, and kindness were felt by everyone who came in contact with her.
Amy was a gifted musician (guitarist/singer/songwriter) and multi-disciplinary artist. She was on the cutting edge in the field of technology and received her doctorate in e-learning, something she saw as the wave of the future years ago. One of her daughters described how Amy always embraced change and was a true alchemist. She could literally turn sh*t into gold and her optimistic attitude was so strong, that you just believed her and indeed, if she said it would be, it just was.
Above all else, Amy loved her role as a mother and a grandmother and now leaves her retired husband Frank Gracia at the head of their amazing family. Throughout her life, Amy selflessly gave to others, family, friends, people she did not know, and often when she really didn’t have enough for herself and she did so without expectation. It is now our turn to offer support to the Gracia family, in particular to fund the ongoing long-term care needed for the second eldest daughter, Maegan.
