<div>Nuestro querido Victor Manuel Hernández Villa fue un hombre con un alma bondadosa que tocó a todos los que lo conocieron. Tenía una forma de hacer que las personas se sintieran respetadas, valoradas y amadas. Para muchos, era conocido como Don Victor, un nombre dicho con honor y cariño, porque se conducía con dignidad y entregaba su corazón a los demás sin dudar.

<div>Victor llegó a Estados Unidos con 10 años de edad. Vivió entre México y Los Ángeles hasta que su vida cambió para siempre en 1974, cuando conoció a mi madre. Se enamoró de ella, y también se enamoró de mí. Yo era una niña de dos años, inquieta y traviesa, que de inmediato sintió el amor en su corazón y lo reconocí como mi Papi desde el primer día. Sin que yo lo supiera, él decidió adoptarme y criarme como su propia hija, asegurándose de que nunca me sintiera abandonada ni falta de amor. Me protegió con todo su corazón y me dio el regalo de poder llamarlo mi Papa, una verdad que descubrí mucho tiempo después. Para entonces ya no importaba, porque él había llenado cada papel de un verdadero padre, sin mirar atrás.

<div>Se entregó por completo a nuestra familia. Cada fin de semana se hacía tiempo para salir juntos, ya fuera al cine, al parque, a la playa, a los lagos, a parques de diversiones o a vivir aventuras sencillas. Su alegría estaba en vernos felices y su amor siempre estuvo presente. Nos enseñó a tratar a los demás con amabilidad, a mostrar respeto y a vivir la vida lo más plenamente posible.

<div>Victor no medía la vida en dinero ni en posesiones. Su riqueza estaba en su amor, su generosidad y su espíritu. Daba sin esperar nada a cambio. Si alguien intentaba retribuirle, él agradecía el gesto y decía que no hacía falta. Era el tipo de hombre que le daría su abrigo a un desconocido en el frío sin pensarlo dos veces. Vivió al servicio de los demás, guiado solo por su corazón.

Se aseguró de que nos sintiéramos parte de ellos, llenando nuestra vida de historias sobre su familia grande y amorosa, y nos llevó a México más de una vez para compartir la belleza de su país y la calidez de quienes amaba.

<div>Our beloved, Victor Manuel Hernandez Villa, was a man whose gentle soul touched everyone he met.

<div>He had a way of making people feel respected, valued, and loved. To so many, he was known as Don Victor, a name spoken with honor and affection, because he carried himself with dignity and gave his heart to others without hesitation.
</div>

<div>Victor came to the United States at only 10 years old. He moved between Mexico and Los Angeles until his life changed forever in 1974 when he met my mother. He fell in love with her, but he also fell in love with me. I was a rambunctious two-year-old who instantly felt the love in his heart and knew him as my Papi from day one. Unbeknownst to me, he chose to adopt me and raise me as his own daughter, making sure I never felt abandoned or unloved. He protected me with his whole heart and gave me the gift of calling him my father, a truth I only discovered much later in life. By then, it did not matter, because he had already filled every role of a true father, never once looking back.

<div>He devoted himself fully to our family. Every weekend he made time to take us out together, whether it was to the movies, the park, the beach, the lakes, theme parks, or simple adventures. His joy was in seeing us happy and his love was always present. He taught us to treat others with kindness, to show respect, and to live life as fully as possible.

<div>Victor was not a man who measured life in money or possessions. His wealth was in his love, generosity, and spirit. He gave without expecting anything in return. If you tried to repay him, he would gently refuse. He was the kind of man who would give his coat to a stranger in the cold without a second thought. He lived his life in service to others, guided only by his heart.

<div>He carried immense pride and love for his family in Mexico. To him, they were everything. He made sure we felt part of them by filling our lives with stories about his big, loving family, and he took us to Mexico more than once to share the beauty of his country and the warmth of those he loved.

<div>Our family is heartbroken by his passing. The world feels emptier without his presence. We are raising funds to give him the peaceful and dignified farewell he deserves, one that reflects the love he gave so freely and the life he lived so fully.
