In loving memory of Vicki Toews

My mother, Vicki Toews, was diagnosed in March 2017 with stage 4 pancreatic cancer. A diagnosis that turn all of our worlds upside down.  At that time she was given a prognosis of 6 months without chemo and 1-1 1/2 years with.  We all moved down to Florida so she could be in her happy place (the beach) and be surrounded by the ones she loved. She is the strongest woman I have ever known. She fought long and hard and never once complained, even thru 48 rounds of chemo. She enjoyed every moment she could while she was here. Ultimately Mom passed on Aug 21st 2019.  2 1/2 years after her diagnosis. 

My mother was so many things to so many different people.  She was a wife, mother, meema, sister, aunt, and an incredible friend. She could make you laugh with ease and had no problems telling you exactly what she thought. She showed me what true strength is and how important it is to cherish every moment of life. No matter what life threw at her my mother always maintained her beautiful smile. 

Please join us on Sunday October 20th as we will be celebrate my mother Vicki Lynn Toews' life. The ceremony will take place at the Elks Lodge located at 903 N Dunlap Ave, Savoy, IL 61874 from 2-4 pm. In lieu of flowers please consider donating to this page. The money will be used to help cover mom's remaining medical expenses as well as any additional expenses that arise from her passing.









Mom, you were a truly beautiful soul and there is not a day that goes by that you will not be missed.
