The family and friends of Trina have suffered the tragic loss of her bright and shining spirit.
Trina was taken from us far too soon, but she left quite an incredible mark on this world leaving it more beautiful than she found it. To know her was to love her. On September 16, 2017, Trina lost her battle with pancreatic cancer. She passed away peacefully with her mom right by her side. We are heartbroken and struggling to accept that she's gone, but we know her spirit will never truly leave us. Trina courageously fought pancreatic cancer for almost a year. She was fearless, strong, and brave beyond words. When she was diagnosed she never, ever complained but rather took the challenge with unparalleled courage and grace. She taught us how to live and she taught us how to meet life's most difficult challenges. Trina lived a vibrant life. Her greatest accomplishment was her son Jordan.
There are no words to describe the magnificent person we’ve lost, there is no way to describe the way our family feels. Trina is, was, and always will be the brightest light in any room. She was selfless, funny, kind-hearted, loving, and absolutely beautiful - inside and out. Her infectious love of life was contagious. For all of us who had the privilege and honor of knowing Trina, we were the lucky ones.
We cannot express how deeply she was loved by us and everyone around her. We are truly and deeply saddened by our loss. We all are hurting and handling things the way we know how to. Some go to Facebook to pay their respects in pictures and kind words. Some sit quietly trying to process their loss. We all are grieving her loss.
We are very grateful for the support we have received and will continue to receive. We look forward to celebrating her life in every way possible. Anyone who knew Trina, knows that she had a huge heart and would help anyone who needed it. Our hope is to return the favor and raise funds for end of life costs and to leave to her son Jordan. The time has come for us to give back in a big way.
I am asking you to open your hearts and help us with this mission. As Trina’s sister/cousin, I have vowed to help this campaign to be a success. Please GIVE, SHARE, and SPREAD THE WORD.
