In Loving Memory
Tim Khanh Nguyen
October 14, 1976  -  August 29, 2018

Tim is one of the coolest people you would meet.  He was that guy who always had a smile on his face.  Tim maintained great relationships with his family, girlfriend, neighbors, coworkers, ex- girlfriends, and even friends from back in elementary school, whom he continued to be in contact with.  He was an adventurer at heart and loved the outdoors. Whether it was hiking, camping, riding his motorcycle, river rafting, swimming, or working out at the gym, Tim lived his life to the fullest.

Tim always surrounded himself with friends.  He constantly had everyone over his house for BBQ’s, parties, and especially to just kick it and watch the game.  With music blasting and rounds of drinks for everyone, you’d definitely know where the party was at.  He was the life of the party with his loud and infectious laugh.  You always felt welcomed in his home.

Family was so important to Tim.  Regardless of their busy schedules, Tim made it a priority to have them meet up for family dinners regularly.  Even after death, we find that Tim has brought many family members together.  He would be so happy to know that through their differences and misunderstandings, they are able to unite as a group to honor his life,

As a father, it was hard for Tim to see his two kids.  His 9 year old daughter, Tiffany lives in Poland with her mother.  Tim endlessly kept in touch with her through Skype, flying there to see her, or simply sending her boxes filled with gifts. His son, Mykael is 22 years old and lives in Lathrop, CA.  Although the distance kept them from seeing each other more often, they shared many loving memories together.  Tim truly and unconditionally loved his kids.

Tim leaves behind his twin sister, Shau and little sister Tien. Shau is extremely devastated and a piece of her will always be missing now. Tien often looked to her big brother in times of advice and comfort. Their mother and father will forever be heartbroken due to their loss.

Tim passed away at the young age of 41.  After two excruciating weeks in the ICU @ Regional Medical Center in San Jose, his life was cut short due to unexplained seizures and multiple complications, which resulted in organ failure and cardiac arrest.  As his family tries to make sense of this tragedy, they are completely torn and filled with unbearable grief.

Tim’s family and friends miss him dearly and will keep him in their hearts and memories forever.  We know that he is at peace now and smiling up in heaven as he is watching over us.

If we could visit heaven,

even for a day,

Maybe for a moment,

the pain would go away.

I'd put my arms around you,

and whisper words so true,

that living life without you,

is the hardest thing to do.

No matter how we spend our days,

no matter what we do,

No morning sunrises or evening stars,

When we don't think of you.
