It is with deep humility and vulnerability that I come to you all asking for support during one of the most difficult moments of my life.
Tavaree was more than my nephew, he was one of God’s greatest assignments in my life. Tavaree lived with cerebral palsy and faced many complex medical challenges. He was nonverbal, blind, and completely dependent me.
I have taken care Tavaree since he was 4 years old. For the last 15 years my life consisted of doctor visits, sleepless nights, daily care, prayers, and moments of deep love that only a caregiver can understand.
Because of Tavaree’s long list of pre-existing conditions, obtaining life insurance for him was always a challenge, receiving denial after denial. Unfortunately, that has left me unable to take on the full financial burden that comes with laying him to rest. All funds raised will go directly toward his homegoing services and final arrangements.
This has been harder than I imagined. I find myself waking up to give him his meds, only to be reminded of his departure. The house just isn’t the same, but I take comfort in knowing that Tavaree is now free from pain and suffering.
If you are unable to give financially, keep me in your prayers at this time. If you can share Tavaree’s story, that alone means more than you know. And if you are able to support, please know that every contribution no matter the amount is deeply appreciated and will go directly toward honoring Tavaree’s life. No contribution is too small.
Thank you for your love, your prayers, and your support during this time.
May God bless you abundantly.
