In loving memory of Samreatta “Kandie” Owens

We as a family didn’t imagine having to go through this devastating moment so soon. On Saturday June 20, 2020 we lost an amazing woman- a true Superwoman, a child of God with a heart made of gold. Samreatta “Kandie” Owens was such a fighter and so strong and anyone that knows her knows how much she loved God, her kids and family. She had suffered so many strokes and constantly being hospitalized in and out of rehabs but she never let her circumstances discourage her or take away her beautiful smile she carried. Although we wanted to keep her here on earth, The Lord had other plans and wanted her to finally rest after fighting so long. Kandie leaves behind her 4 children and a host of family and friends that have been affected by her loss. On behalf of our family we have set up this Gofundme account are asking for any help with funeral expenses due to the fact unfortunately she didn’t have life insurance. Nothing is too small or too big to show that you care. Kandie does have 2 out of her 4 children that are minors so any extra funds raised will be used solely to help take care of their living expenses. We appreciate any and everything you all can do so we can give her a proper home going.
