IN LOVING MEMORY OF PAULINA CUEVAS GONE TOO SOON

On January 1, 2021, our lives were changed forever. We received the news that our beloved mother, grandmother, and wife, Paulina Salazar de Cuevas was reunited with God in heaven. Her passing was unexpected. After having battled cancer and other illnesses she unfortunately lost the fight to Covid-19.
Paulina was a beautiful example of what a daughter, wife, mother and grandmother should be. She always put her family first and was always a woman of great faith.
My mother could brighten up the room with her smile, she loved to crack jokes and make everyone laugh; she definitely loved being the center of attention. She loved her family and friends deeply and passionately. Whenever given the chance she always lent a helping hand. She was our bright ray of sunshine, our source of wisdom, and our greatest treasure.
A major lesson she taught us is how to love. She taught us that despite the trials and tribulations that occur in life, God and love will get you through the pain and suffering.
She is survived by her husband Jose Cuevas and her three children and spouses, Yadira and Jeff Chabot, Laura and David Guzman, Jose Jr. and Erika Cuevas. As well as her three grandchildren Ethan, Mariela, and Elizabeth.
We are absolutely devastated by our mothers passing and are struggling to find the funds to cover her service. As hard as it is to go on without her, we as her family are creating this GoFundMe in order to raise funds for funeral and hospital expenses. We greatly appreciate any donations made in any amount. Every little bit will help. Please share any memories you have of my mother, Paulina (Pina) as our family will greatly appreciate reading them. El primero de enero 2021, nuestras vidas cambiaron para siempre. Recibimos la noticía que nuestra madre, abuelita, y esposa: Paulina Salazar de Cuevas fue reunida con nuestro Padre Dios en el cielo. Su fallecimiento fue inesperado. Despues de haber ganado su batalla contra cancer y otras enfermedades, desafortunadamente la perdimos a Covid-19.
Mi madre fue un bello ejemplo de lo que es ser hija, esposa, madre, y abuleita. Siempre puso a su familia primero y fue una mujer de gran fe.
Ella alumbraba el cuarto con su sonrisa. Le gustaba bromear y hacer reir a todos. Le encantaba ser el centro de atención. Amaba su familia y amigos con todo su corazón. Siempre estaba lista y dispuesta a dar ayuda a quien lo necesitara. Ella era un rallo de sol brillante, nuestra fuente de sabiduría, y nuestro mas preciado tesoro. Una de las mayores lecciónes que nos enseñó es como amar. Nos enseñó que a pesar de las pruebas y tribulaciones que occuren en la vida, Dios y el amor nos ayudarán a superar el dolor y el sufrimiento.
Es sobrevivida por su esposo Jose Cuevas, y sus tres hijos y parejas, Yadira & Jeff Chabot, Laura & David Guzman, Jose Jr. & Erika Cuevas. Y tambien sus tres nietos Ethan, Mariela y Elizabeth.

Por mas difícil que sea continuar sin ella, como familia estamos creando un “GoFundMe” con el fin de recaudar fondos para gastos de funeral y hospital.
