Dear friends and family, as you all know, our beloved father, Chi Him Chiu, passed away recently just a month shy of his 91st birthday. It seemed like it was just yesterday when we were so sure that we would be celebrating his birthday for many more years to come, but instead, we had to bid his beloved soul farewell. As a friend said, "There is no good time to lose someone you love dearly."
Our father was a very special man who loved life and thought profoundly of life. He loved his family and friends deeply with a steadfastness and loyalty that lasted a lifetime. We will forever miss his laughter, his conversation, his philosophical reflections, his honesty, his sincerity, his passion, his support, his playful jokes, his delicious cooking, his intelligence, his insights, and most of all his love.
We would like to honor our father's zest for life and memory by donating $5,000 to Cooley Dickinson Hospital whose medical staff took great care of our father during his final days especially during this difficult period (funds will go towards purchase of necessary medical supplies and equipment and support the physical, mental, and financial well-being of the care providers). This will be matched equally by a corporate contribution for a total of $10,000.
