In loving memory of our beloved dad Satnam Singh

Our father Satnam Singh Virdee was a kind, caring, humble individual. He possessed a rare gift of radiating positive energy to those around him. A good day for dad was determined by how many people he left smiling and uplifted from their life challenges. For this reason he has undoubtedly left a void in many people's hearts, we are all searching for those words of hope we were so reliant on.
Many of you have sent condolences and are wanting to do your part to remember him. One thing dad really didn't care about was the material things in life, he lived a fulfilling life through performing Nishkam Sewa (Selfless service). In his own words we now need to 'accept Guru da bhana' (God's will/pleasure), 'cheer up' and continue to 'be happy by helping poor people'. For that reason it would be a great honour to raise money in his loving memory to support the following charities that were close to his heart:
1. Dasmesh Charitable Hospital, Punjab, India and provide financial support for families in need in Punjab, funding children's education fees and weddings
2. Sikh Relief UK:
Sikh relief aims to provide medical, legal and welfare aid. For example the charity helps the families of political prisoners, shaheed families, and helps to empower men, women and children with skills, so they can become self sufficient and rehabilitate their lives.
Sikh relief are currently running several humanitarian, education, and environmental projects. For more information on the projects currently in operation, please visit www.sikhrelief.org
