IN MEMORIAM
We are very saddened by the sudden passing of our friend and co-worker Carlos Pocon. Carlos was a vital part of our YMCA of Greater Long Beach Early Childhood Education group where he was the go to person for any matter that needed fixing at our pre-schools. His cheerful spirit, exceptional work ethic and caring attitude, made him a loved member of the Early Childhood group. Carlos worked for the Long Beach Y starting July 1998, he left for a brief period in October 2005 but returned to the Y three months later in February of 2006. He passed away this week on Wednesday, February 10, 2021. Carlos is survived by his wife Rosa, son Byron, daughter Yesmi, five grandchildren, and one great grandchild. He was also preceded in death by his daughter Arely. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
To express condolences, please write a note here and any amount you can contribute towards funeral expenses would be appreciated.
