In loving memory of Mirek Pitrowski
Mirek passed away on Sunday December 6, leaving a big hole in many of our lives.
Mirek was a loving uncle, brother, and most of all, friend. Mirek was always ready with a helping hand and was able to find the fun and joy in any task. He would give anyone the shirt off his back and it wasn't just to show off his abs.
He was the life of the party and had a great sense of humour. A friend recently shared that he once said, out of the blue, "How do you turn a cold shower hot?.....Put me in it!". And using that logic - heaven just got a little hotter.
Due to Covid we will not be able to gather to share our grief and love for Mirek. A celebration of life will be scheduled once it is safe to do so.
In addition to the immense grief that Mirek's family and sister are facing, there are also some financial costs. We are raising funds to help offset those costs. All proceeds of this fund will go to Mirek's sister Gosia.
Any extra funds, after expenses have been paid, will be donated to CAMH in Mirek's name.
Any help is greatly appreciated.
