<div>Mauro was born in January 2011 with two congenital heart defects. At just 8 days old, he underwent open-heart surgery and received a pacemaker. Throughout his young life, he faced numerous surgeries and medical challenges with incredible strength and courage.

<div>On June 13, Mauro was working outside when he suddenly collapsed. He suffered a severe abnormal heart arrhythmia that led to cardiac arrest. Despite hours of heroic efforts by medical personnel to save him, Mauro sadly passed away.
</div>

<div>Although our hearts are broken, we find comfort in knowing that he is no longer suffering and is at peace.
</div>

</div>
<div>Mauro was a kind, loving, hardworking, and intelligent young man who was deeply loved by everyone who knew him. His smile, determination, and caring spirit touched countless lives, and he will be missed beyond words.
</div>
