In Loving Memory of Matthew Irvin

Donation protected
Whether it was competitive swimming, football, or rugby, Matthew was a quick learner and threw himself completely into any sport, excelling with little effort.
Matthew approached work with the same intensity and was a quick study. Following in his father's footsteps as a UPS driver for a number of years, he made his father proud as he quickly became highly respected with his co-workers and management for his easy mastery of the job and an enviable work ethic. Matthew moved on to other trades in the following years, but whether it was delivery work, construction, paving, or surveying, Matthew knew well the meaning of a hard day's work. In his free time, Matthew enjoyed spending time in the outdoors hiking, fishing, hunting, and camping, supplying us with many of our fondest memories of him. His laughter was wholehearted, and his smile would light up a room.

On the morning of July 10, 2020 our lives were torn apart when he was tragically taken from us at the age of 26. His passing was unforeseen and we are all still reeling from having him leave us so suddenly and at such a young age. Matthew was like a shooting star: his presence in our lives was bright, brilliant and amazing to watch, but it was so incredibly short. As is natural when you lose a loved one so abruptly, you are left with so many questions as to how this could happen. What could have been done to change fate? And the regret that comes from unspoken conversations and sentiments that will never reach his ear. We, Matthew's many surviving relatives, friends, and acquaintances, will have years worth of cherished memories to carry through our life to comfort us. However, the burden of loss is felt most heavily by the three young children that will grow up without their loving father to guide them through life --Tyson six years old, Blake three years old, and Aurora fifteen months old. I have started this memorial go fund me to accept your generous donations to be used equally among the children for their upbringing and to secure a better future for them. This fund will be managed and distributed by the children's grandmother, Kimberly Irvin. Thank you all very much for all the support you have shown to us in this incredibly hard time, and we hope that through this we can make the lives of his children at least a little better, so once again, thank you.
