In Loving Memory of Matthew Fortuna

Our hearts are shattered as we mourn the passing of our dear Matthew, who died suddenly in his home the afternoon of May 19, 2023. Matthew left behind his sweet, beloved wife Mariafe Fortuna (26) as well as their two young daughters Mia (4) and Maddie (3).

Matthew was the kind of person everyone needs in their lives. If you were lucky enough to know Matthew, you know he had a way of making others feel heard and cared for with his warm and compassionate nature - always wanting to listen to others story and lend an ever so empathetic ear. This beautiful, softhearted man cared deeply for others. Words cannot begin to describe the brokenness we feel from the tragic loss of our dear sweet Matthew - beloved husband, father, son, brother and cherished friend. It’s a shock to us all. We can only try to understand it.

His wife and daughters were his world. He was a devoted husband and dotting father that gave his all to his family. They were truly his life’s pride and joy. His only wish would be to ensure the care and support of his wife and children to help ease the financial burden of his loss. Funeral and living arrangements are being made at this time.
