In Loving Memory of Madian

We tragically lost Madian Antoun after a 39 day battle with COVID-19. He passed away on January 12, 2021. Now, we are asking for help to support Madian's wife and two sons to ensure they have everything they need to cover funeral costs, medical costs, and the cost of education in the wake of this heartbreaking loss.
Madian was my uncle and has been a constant force of love and support in my life. He immigrated to this country when he was 15 years old, moving here to live with my parents to escape the violence of the Lebanese civil war. As a kid, I remember being so excited to see Uncle Madian on the weekends, and when he moved back to America 4 years ago with his family, I was able to share that excitement with my husband, Justin. Madian was the greatest uncle, and a tremendously loving father and husband. He always had room in his heart for all his family and friends across the world.
Madian worked so hard to achieve the American dream, and then to provide the same opportunities for his children. His wife Claudia, and two sons, Chris and Greg, are new to this country, having only lived here for 3 years. They need support, now more than ever.
We are creating this page to help his family with the funeral expenses and medical costs, as well as provide additional support for his family's care, including his children's education. Madian was the sole breadwinner for his family.
Madian's oldest son, Christopher, is 21 years old and has been pursuing his Associate's Degree at Columbus State (CSCC). Christopher's goal is to complete his Associate's Degree at CSCC and then and go on to get his Bachelors degree at The Ohio State University. Madian would want more than anything for his son to be able to achieve this.
Greg is 13 years old and has special needs. The money generated from this fund will help continue to secure housing for Madian's family in Bexley, where Greg can continue getting quality special needs education at Bexley City Schools.
We are asking that if you are able, please donate whatever amount you can - no amount is too small. These funds are needed urgently, and we are grateful to you for whatever you can contribute.
Madian's funeral plans are being arranged this week, and we will keep everyone updated as those progress.
Our hearts are breaking with loss and grief. We will always remember Madian as the bright, shining light of love and positivity in our family. He was a life-long Buckeye fan, and every time we watch the Bucks play, we'll be watching with him. He had a life full of love, even throughout hardships. We all feel so fortunate to have had him in our lives and to have his memory and legacy to live by.
