<div>Lilli, Lincoln and I were in Arizona visiting the Grand Canyon when we got in a horrific car accident on July 13, 2026. We were on a 2-lane highway when a pickup truck tried to illegally pass another truck, drove into oncoming traffic and hit us head on.

<div>We've been in a hospital in Arizona ever since and will be here for a while.

<div>I only broke a foot, but Lilli broke around 20 bones, had an internal injury, a collapsed lung, and a concussion. She’s had multiple surgeries, the doctors are pleased with her progress, and she's lucid and back to normal.

<div>Tragically and beyond comprehension, our beautiful, kind, hilarious, fun, energetic, animal-loving, magical Lincoln didn't survive. He was 8 years old. We don't know how we'll go on without him. He was the single greatest part of our lives, the thing that brought us the most joy, pride and love, our favorite person in the whole world ever. He was our everything.
