 Our hearts are broken as we share the unexpected loss of our beloved Juan Huerta Rosales, who so many knew and loved simply as “Pato.” On August 31, 2026, Pato tragically lost his life after being struck by a vehicle in Simi Valley.

 Anyone who knew Pato knew his kind heart, his sense of humor, and the way he could always make people smile. He leaves behind his loving mother, his brothers and sisters, family, friends, and so many people throughout Simi Valley whose lives he touched.

 We are raising funds to help Pato’s family with his funeral and the unexpected expenses that come with such a sudden loss. Our family is still working through the arrangements and difficult decisions ahead, and any support during this time means more to us than we can express. Because of the language barrier, I am organizing this fundraiser on behalf of my cousin and our family, and all funds raised will go toward Pato’s funeral and related expenses.
