It is with unimaginable heartbreak that we share the sudden and unexpected passing of our beloved 14-year-old, Ja’Nyah Grays. On what seemed like a normal early morning, our sweet, bright, and loving girl suffered a seizure and tragically did not recover. Her loss has left a void in our family, our community, and in the hearts of everyone who knew her.

Ja’Nyah was full of light — a joyful spirit with a beautiful smile that could brighten even the hardest days. She loved deeply, laughed often, and brought so much warmth and kindness to those around her. Whether she was helping others, making her friends laugh, or simply being her gentle, caring self, she touched lives in a way that will never be forgotten.

Her passing has left our family facing emotional pain no parent or loved one should ever experience — as well as unexpected financial burdens related to funeral and memorial expenses. We are humbly asking for support from our community to help us honor her life and lay her to rest with the love and dignity she deserves.
