Help us raise funds for a special final farewell x

We're hoping to raise £4,000 to give our mum, Jane Collings the beautiful send off she deserves.

After a 10 year battle and achieving remission 3 times, Jane passed away in the early hours of the 18th July 2021 at Torbay Hospital. Leaving a massive hole in the lives of all who knew her but especially her beloved husband Roy who were childhood sweethearts, meeting at 16 and enjoying a wonderful and happy marriage of 40 years, truly a meeting of soulmates. Her Children Amanda, Jemma, Jason, Melanie, Charlotte, and Joseph as well as her 12 Grandchildren. All of whom she adored with all her heart and felt blessed everyday to have had the chance to meet them before her illness took her away.

Our Mum was an incredible lady who always had a smile a mile wide on her face even when she was in the darkest of days. A truly positive inspiration to all of her family, she saw even the smallest things as a reason to fight, such as her nurse at the hospital being called hope. A selfless lady who always put others before herself raising money for charity by jumping out of planes whilst having chemo or getting stuck in at coffee mornings.

Losing her fight with Cancer but the battle she fought was an incredible one, her first diagnosis 10 years ago gave her only 3-6 months however defying the odds it was an infection from chemo in the end that was the battle she lost, still fighting to the very end, a champion in so many ways.

Whilst mum's illness was a long battle the final fight was fast and unrelenting, taking us all by surprise and taking the few years we were promised away from us.

We would be eternally grateful for any contribution towards the funeral expenses, to hopefully reduce the financial pressures and added stress that these difficult times bring.
