In Loving Memory of Jake Johnson

There are few ways to express the sadness that has enveloped our family. Jake, recently married to his wonderful wife Ivy, was working his side hustle delivering a pizza for Domino's late at night when he was killed by a hit and run driver in Denver. Jake and his wife had big dreams together and worked tirelessly to achieve them, whether it was Jake working a second job in addition to his full-time gig, or Ivy working late hours at her work. Now Ivy is faced with finding a new norm without her Jake, someone she knew instantly she would marry right after meeting him. To ease this burden and give her the time to heal, financial security is more important than ever.

Jake was just 30 years old when he was killed. He was best known for his infectious laugh, immense kindness, and unwavering devotion to the 49ers football team, when for many years they gave him little in return to earn that devotion. Jake’s soul was about human decency, noticing the rare attributes of others, love for his dog Montana (named for Joe Montana, of course), loyalty, and optimism. He is the youngest of three and was adored by not only his wife but also his loving parents, siblings, and cousins, who were more than just his family members but his best friends.
