On Tuesday 7/18/2017, Enma Alicia Barillas lost her brave fight against cancer, lovingly surrounded by her family.
My mom battled cancer for the last 9 years. Throughout it all she continued to be the rock of our family by taking care of everyone around her. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend.
She is survived by her husband, Gustavo, sons Gustavo Jr, Francisco and Carlos, grandchildren Ralphie, Alexandria, Brooklyn, and Briana and a large network of family and friends.
This is a devastating time for all of us. In particular for my father, who has been by her side for 47 years and lovingly cared for her until the end. Anything you can provide will help my father with the medical expenses incurred and for laying my mother to rest.
We are struggling but we know she is now pain free and at peace. She will forever be our angel.
