"Yesterday, on a roof top garden in St. Louis, Missouri, Edward Ovalle went home to Glory. In Edward’s final moments he was able to leave his hospital room that he had come to know as home and go to a small paradise suspended above the bustling streets below. This was his first walk with his Mommy. On March 24, God brought a miracle of joy into this world when Katrina gave birth to Edward Ovalle four weeks prior to his due date. Edward was born with multiple medical complications, many of which were beyond modern medicine’s ability. Due to these complications, Edward’s body was shutting down and he was able to spend his last moments surrounded by family. After 145 days of bringing joy into this world, Edward succumbed to his earthly ailments to meet his Heavenly Father. For greater than three thousand four hundred hours, Katrina was privileged to care and enjoy this gift from Glory, Her little “Monkey”. Edward loved watching his Mommy and looked for her all over his room, his eyes would brighten whenever he found her. Edward is now without pain or suffering, he is able to see our Savior, and be with his grandfather Charles Edward.
