In Loving Memory Deena Williams

 Hello Friends and Family! (Jessica here) writing on behalf of the family again. I went ahead and raised the goal one more time, from $2,500 to $3,000.

The Family is so stinking appreciative and grateful for every kind thing that has been said; the love and support of each friend; and the generous donations from family and strangers alike. However we are not out of the woods just yet. There are still so many things to be done to help get the family back on their feet. 

Please keep spreading the word of our fund raiser, and thank you all again so much for all the help. We appreciate everything so much, and understand times are hard for everyone, however it means that much more to us, knowing there are still people willing to help.

     It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we bid farewell to our loving and strong warrior of a woman, Deena Williams, who was sent to the heavens today.

          Tuesday morning, August 15th at around 3  or 4 am Vicki and Deena's home went up in flames. With many animals inside and the confusion everywhere it wasn't until the smoke cleared that we found out the horrible truth...  Loving Deena did not make it out of the home in time. The family has lost everything, a loving mother and wife, many family pets, and their home have all been lost to this horrible accident.

The strength that Deena carried with her daily was present with every moment of her life. Even until the end, her concerns were only that of the safety of her loving pets, and the safety of her family, which meant the world to her.

       Now please friends, and family. We must pull our resources together to help with  anything that we can; funeral costs,( including cremation, and memorial service costs), and also help find new homes for the animals. Some animals may  need forever homes, and some just need a place to stay while we figure out what to do in this tragic time. 

The family in this time asks for your prayers and to please send all your love to Deena in Heaven. Prayers that this suffering will make room for peace; strength; HOPE and perseverance.

We will also need food, and clothes for those now needing to start over, amidst losing someone as influential and as strong as Deena, they lost all their possesions, many furry friends also lost their lives too. 

We ask for Love and Strength in this confusing and difficult time, but we know that God will NOT allow us to experience this alone.

1.) WE STILL HAVE * TWO PUPS ON THE LOOSE RUNNING AROUND THE OUTSKIRTS OF CAPE, NEAR RT V, 177, AND THE STATE PARK. PLEASE KEEP AN EYE OUT FOR THE PUPPY DOGS!
*unfortunately we found out another puppy didn't make it out, we belive there is only one or two loose.


2.) WE NEED CLOTHES, SHOES,  FOOD, AND FURNITURE STILL IN ORDER TO REBUILD. THE FAMILY CURRENTLY DOESN'T HAVE ANY SORT OF CLOTHES, WE NEED EVERYTHING FROM SOCKS TO UNDERWEAR; SHOES TO PANTS AND T-SHIRTS.

            - WOMEN'S PADS, OR DEPENDS


WE HAVE SET UP DONATION DROP OFF BOXES AT THE FOLLOWING LOCATIONS:

WE UNDERSTAND THAT NOT EVERYONE CAN DONATE MONEY, (this world seems so treacherous for us all as of lately) BUT WE APPRECIATE EVEN JUST THE KIND AND LOVING WORDS; THE AWARENESS THAT PEOPLE JUST WANT TO SPREAD THE WORD. ANYTHING HELPS. WE UNDERSTAND THIS JOURNEY TO RECOVERY FROM THIS IS A LONG ONE. PUTTING THE PIECES BACK TOGETHER PIECE BY PIECE IS A SLOW START. BUT WE'RE THANKFUL TO BE STARTING AGAIN. PLEASE REMEMBER EVERYTHING HELPS.
