In loving memory of David Wascko

To his very last day on earth, David Wascko was filled with the joy of life. Even when battling horrendous pain from a rare disease (https://histio.org/page.aspx?pid=383) his exuberance and love for Jesus shone through.

The down side is David and his family were unprepared for his sudden departure May 22, 2017. No end-of-life arrangements we made. Signs that the disease was active again after a period of happy remission had just begun. Although Langerhans cell histiocytosis (LCH) quickly took his life, his loved ones are thankful that he felt no pain in the end.

Many friends have requested a way to help the family through this trying time. The financial burdens are many, due in part to David’s years long battle with LCH.

All donations are designated to Jan Wascko, David’s faithful and conscientious companion of 33 years.  We encourage you to also post encouraging memories, thoughts and prayers as we look to support Jan.
