Chris was a loving father, brother, son, friend, cousin and uncle that grew up in Clinton, MS. He moved to the Clarksville, TN area several years back when he became a member of Mosaic Church. Chris was a small business owner with a huge heart and amazing character that was quick to bring on much laughter. Chris loved telling jokes, singing, Mississippi State football, fishing, family, friends and most importantly talking and spending time with his daughter and brother.
On Saturday, April 10, 2021, Christopher Dale Stewart (47) was last seen/heard from in Clarksville, TN. On Monday, April 26, 2021 his body was recovered from the Cumberland River near the Smith Branch Boat Ramp.
While we are still trying to process the unknown at this time that took Chris's life, we are trying to prepare to lay him to rest. Please consider making a donation to help Chris's family offset the cost of funeral expenses.
The Stewart family would sincerely like to thank everyone that has helped in supporting this matter at hand. We sincerely thank the Montgomery County Sheriff's Department and the Clarksville Police Department, as well as our family, friends, and community for their ongoing support, thoughts, and prayers during this difficult time.
