<div>With broken hearts, we share that our beloved Albert DeCassius Marion—lovingly known as Baby Cash—has passed away.

</div>

<div>In February, at just 18 months old, Cash began throwing up frequently. We knew something wasn’t right and pushed for answers beyond the usual flu diagnosis. In March, our worst fears were confirmed: Cash was diagnosed with Atypical Teratoid Rhabdoid Tumor (AT/RT)—an extremely rare and aggressive brain cancer. Fewer than 50 children are diagnosed with AT/RT in the U.S. each year.

<div>From the moment of his diagnosis, Cash fought with unimaginable strength. In April, he was admitted to UCLA Ronald Reagan Medical Center, where he bravely underwent major surgeries, including a craniotomy to remove the tumor. Complications like pneumonia made his path even more difficult. When we learned the cancer had spread to his spine, we held onto hope, surrounded him with love, and continued to pray for a miracle.

<div>Today, on June 16th, 2025, our sweet boy took his last breath in our arms.

<div>Cash was a light. His spirit was filled with courage, love, and the kind of strength that touched everyone who knew his story. His baby brother, Zimi, won’t be able to understand that his big brother won’t be coming home, and our family is navigating an ocean of grief while trying to stay afloat.

</div>

<div>Through it all, God is holding us strong. Amidst our pain, we continue to feel His presence and the love of those who lift us in prayer.

</div>

<div>This journey has left us emotionally shattered and financially overwhelmed. We are humbly asking for help with funeral and memorial expenses, as well as support for our family as we grieve. Any contribution will help us honor Baby Cash with the beautiful farewell he deserves and give us the space to begin healing.

<div>Con el corazón roto, compartimos que nuestro querido Albert DeCassius Marion—conocido con amor como Baby Cash—ha fallecido.

<div>En febrero, con solo 18 meses de edad, Cash comenzó a vomitar con frecuencia. Sabíamos que algo no estaba bien y buscamos respuestas más allá de un diagnóstico común de flu. En marzo, se confirmaron nuestros peores temores: a Cash le diagnosticaron un Tumor Rhabdoide Teratoide Atípico (AT/RT), un cáncer cerebral extremadamente raro y agresivo. Menos de 50 niños son diagnosticados con AT/RT cada año en los Estados Unidos.

<div>Desde el momento de su diagnóstico, Cash luchó con una fuerza inimaginable. En abril, fue ingresado en el Centro Médico UCLA Ronald Reagan, donde enfrentó valientemente varias cirugías importantes, incluida una craneotomía para remover el tumor. Complicaciones como la neumonía hicieron su camino aún más difícil. Cuando supimos que el cáncer se había extendido a su columna vertebral, mantuvimos la esperanza, lo rodeamos de amor y seguimos orando por un milagro.

Su hermanito, Zimi, aún no podrá entender que su hermano mayor no regresará a casa, y nuestra familia está atravesando un mar de dolor mientras tratamos de mantenernos a flote.

Humildemente pedimos ayuda para cubrir los gastos funerarios y del memorial, así como apoyo para nuestra familia mientras atravesamos el duelo.
