In Loving Memory of Abraham Knox

Donation protected
On Friday 29th of May 2020, the Knox-Evans family suffered an unimaginable loss.  Their dearly loved 15 year old son Abraham Jack Knox entered the Dreamtime.

Abraham, Abe, Abie Baby was a kind and beautiful young man with a quirky sense of humour and a ‘smile that would light up a stadium’.  A proud Noongar Yamatji man strongly connected to his culture, a role model and leader of young Aboriginal people in the Wadda Wurrung community.

Abe was passionate about sport and was strongly involved in the St Mary’s Football Club, East Belmont Cricket Club and was a keen referee at Geelong United Basketball and numerous other sporting clubs and organisations across the wider community.

Those of you who have been blessed to know the Knox-Evans family personally would appreciate the enormity of their generosity, compassion, love and the absolute selflessness they extend to others.

We, as close friends, have witnessed the outpouring of love for Abe, Rylie, Phil, Jas, Piper, Nellie and their extended family. We understand the feeling of helplessness at this time.

This has led us to create a space for those wishing to contribute in some way.  Your assistance will provide relief for the family to allow them to take time to grieve the loss of their beautiful Abe.

Resting now in the Dreamtime with your ancestors.
