Rest In Peace, Renata Drabaviciene
“He who has gone, so we but cherish his memory, abides with us, more potent, nay, more present than the living man.” — Antoine de Saint-Exupery

As some of you may know, the last few months have been a hard time for me and my brothers. My dear mother had fallen ill over the last few months due to liver failure. Renata was taken into hospital in the beginning of December and during this time my family and her friends have been overtaken by sadness and grief when her condition deteriorated as she battled multiple organ failure over the holiday period. With great sorrow she sadly passed away on Monday the 4th of January at 10pm.

This has been the single hardest period of our lives that we must face during a year in History for all. With strength and support from our family and friends, my siblings and I have held in and are doing our best to stick by each other and keep moving forward together through life and this journey. Renata will be cremated and planned to be scattered by a self made service to be planned, sadly due to the state of the country we cannot hold a standard services.

We were not able to celebrate your birthday on the 5th of January this year, oh how I longed to be with you more than any other that day. We cannot begin to describe the ways that we all will go on to miss and think about you everyday, that feeling is something that over takes a person like no other that I had known before. You were and always will be the strongest woman I had ever known who had over come so many hurdles in your life's journey. You were and always have been a true warrior, with distinct silent courage, willpower and strength to overcome the hardest journeys one person can take in a lifetime. You were not perfect, but nothing in this universe is, but you are our mother, nurturing, loving, hilarious, wild, a mystery, truer to us than any star that burns brightly in the sky.

We plan to ensure my mother is celebrated by all that wish to come family, friends, all the people who have a story about this wonderful woman, for the life she had lived during her planned Wake, which will come in the months to follow. Any donations provided will be to help fund the cost of the wake for everyone to attend and the direct cremation, anything will be greatly appreciated. There is no need to hit the target goal as we are covering the costs where we all can, if you wish to donate and support this we can only be grateful for your help and we thank you.

For anyone who has any questions or wish to contact myself or the family then please do not hesitate to email : [email redacted].uk and I will pass on any contact details, messages, memoirs where required or needed.
