<div>It is with deep sadness that we share the loss of Ed Valdez. The founder of Hidden Temple Toys, he leaves behind his wife Jennifer and their two young boys. Ed Valdez was a light in the lives of everyone who knew him. He was the kind of person who could find hope even in the darkest moments, always bringing joy and laughter to those around him. Together with Jennifer, he ran Hidden Temple Toys, a business that brought happiness to many in the Selma, NC community.

<div>Tragically, Ed's life was cut short when he was struck by a car. His sudden passing has left his family not only grieving an unimaginable loss, but also facing the financial burden of funeral expenses and the uncertainty of how to move forward without him. Ed's family now needs support more than ever as they navigate this difficult time and try to find a path toward healing. As Ed's cousin, I am helping set up this GoFundMe to aide his wife, Jennifer, and their two boys. All of these amazing donations will go to Jennifer to help with caretaking and expenses.

With Ed now gone, tasks such as picking and dropping their children from school, driving to doctor's appointments and lifting heavy objects around the home will require a community of help. Any support you can offer will go directly to helping Ed's wife, children, and mother cover funeral costs and provide for their immediate needs. It will also help continue the Hidden Temple Toys business. Your generosity will allow them to focus on healing and honoring Ed's memory, rather than worrying about financial stress.
