In Honour of our Butterfly Baby

On March 8th, 2018 my cousin Brittni Wiersma  (Ypma) and her entire family experienced an unthinkable tragedy. It is every parent's worst nightmare. Their beautiful baby girl, Katelyn Fiona was born sleeping, 13 days before her due date.

Anyone who knows Brittni or has even met her for a moment, knows just how special of a person she is. Brittni is extrodinarily kind, loving, compassionate and generous. Brittni has dedicated herself to helping children and youth by working in children's mental health.

Despite facing numerous tragedies and hardships in her life, like a fire at her family's home on her wedding day, Brittni continues to bring light to so many people's lives.

Our hearts are absolutely broken for Brittni as she embarks on a painful grief journey as a mother, that none of us can truly understand.

Brittni is always the first person to lend a helping hand and now we would like to help her. While we know nothing can ease her tremendous pain, we would like to ask for donations for Brittni and her young family.  We hope that the money raised will help alleviate some of the stress that they are faced with.

We would like Brittni and Ryan to be able to take as much time off as needed from work, to grieve together without worrying about finances.

Katelyn Fiona will be forever remembered and carried in the hearts of all who love her so much.
