It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of our own Isabel Ortiz, also known as "Mami" by those who loved and supported her.

She passed away on the early morning of August 3rd, 2025 unexpectedly, and our family is feeling the loss of our family matriarch.

She was very devoted to God and would regularly attend Church within the week and Sundays. She was a wonderful cook and baker, as she would sell Limbers and other baked or cooked goods to the community around her. Her cooking and her love for it inspired many within the family to also learn and master the dishes she would create.

God also gifted her with a loving and funny personality, as she would care for her grandchildren as if they were her own children. She is survived by her many adult children and grandchildren.

She was loved by all and will be missed tremendously. We know she is so happy to be reunited with her husband, Marcos and her granddaughter, Jahzara.
