In honor of Michael Herold

I am starting this page to help with financial issues and funeral expenses for my dad Michael Herold. Michael passed away unexpectedly on Saturday July 11, 2020 after a tough fight with COVID -19.  Michael tested positive for the virus on June 22nd and was admitted to the hospital on June 30th for trouble breathing. He was placed on a ventilator for two days out of ten and struggled to breath the entire time.  Every time we talked to my dad he told us he was scared and was going to die. He always reminded us to  "take care of mom". The virus was just to strong and it took over his body within days. After lack of oxygen to his brain we were informed he had no brain activity. This was the hardest thing for our family to hear. We watched him peacefully pass away standing outside a piece of glass at the hospital so that we weren't infected with the virus. For those that knew Michael he was a loving father, husband, poppy and friend to many. Michael was the rock in our family, he was always willing to lend a helping hand. 

My parents were married for 42 years and now my mom is left to live life on her own. Her two children who live in Arizona are doing everything they can to support her emotional and physically. We ask that in leu of flowers you donate to my mom to help her financially.  This money will help my mom tremendously not only with his cremation, but also finances down the road.
