In Memory of Jack Gorlin

Dear Friends and Family,
As you may all know, my sister, Diana Beerman Gorlin, lost her husband, Jack, of almost 54 years on April 6th. Jack was in the hospital and nursing home since January of 2019. She visited him twice-daily to ensure he ate all the things he loved and got plenty of attention until Covid-19 hit when she was no longer allowed to see him.
At the same time, Diana's own health has suffered and she is currently undergoing intensive chemotherapy and radiation. This reduces her ability to work and earn money. Her only income is a small social security payment, now reduced due to about half because of Jack's death.
Our only goal is to cover the costs of the funeral, which were kept to a minimum, but as you might already know, funerals are expensive. We prefer not to have to ask for assistance in covering this cost, but it would be of great help to Diana at this time and situation.
