<div>Am Sonntag, dem 8. Februar 2026, ist unser geschätzter Kollege und Freund <strong>Aaron Pegram</strong> plötzlich und völlig unerwartet verstorben. Mit seinem Tod ist eine Stimme verstummt — eine Stimme, die Theater, Proberäume und das Leben all der Menschen erfüllt hat, die ihn kannten.

<div>Nur zwei Tage zuvor stand Aaron beim SemperOpernball als <strong>Charlie Chaplin</strong> auf der Bühne — strahlend, ausdrucksstark und berührend. Dieser Bruch ist kaum zu fassen.

<div>Fast siebzehn Jahre lang war Aaron Mitglied des Dresdner Solistenensembles. In unzähligen Rollen prägten seine unverwechselbare Stimme, seine Musikalität, sein Humor und seine menschliche Wärme unsere Bühne — und unser Theaterleben. Er war nicht nur ein begnadeter Künstler, sondern auch ein großherziger, lebensbejahender Freund.

<div>On Sunday, February 8, 2026, our beloved colleague and friend <strong>Aaron Pegram</strong> died suddenly and unexpectedly. With his passing, a voice has fallen silent — a voice that filled theaters, rehearsal rooms, and the lives of so many who knew him. Just two days earlier, Aaron stood on stage at the SemperOpernball as <strong>Charlie Chaplin</strong>, radiant, playful, and full of life. The contrast is impossible to grasp.

<div>For nearly seventeen years, Aaron was a treasured member of the Semperoper family. Through countless roles, his unmistakable voice, musicality, humor, and warmth shaped our stage — and our community. He was not only a gifted artist, but a generous, life-affirming colleague and friend.

<div>Aaron leaves behind his wife <strong>Annie </strong>and their two young children, <strong>Anya </strong>and <strong>Leo</strong>.

<div>In the midst of profound grief, they now face the sudden emotional and financial realities of this tragic loss. This fundraiser has been created to support Annie and the children in the weeks and months ahead — to help with immediate expenses and to provide stability during an unimaginably difficult time.
