In Emergency in UK Please Help!

I am a student in the UK from the US who is currently destitute do to financial problems concerning student funding and employment. I had been mugged while attempting to do research work pertaining to my dissertation while in Uganda. Making matters worse, I happened to contract malaria which greatly tapped out the resources of my family to help.  Unfortunately, I also lost my biometric residence permit during a mugging that occurred there. This has stymied my efforts by and large to find work here. I am considering replacing it if it is deemed worthwhile and feasible for me to remain in the UK. I would like to continue my course if possible. However, consistent housing must be secured in order for me to do so. I have reached out to the local Salvation Army to see if they could provide any sort of assistance and will hear back from them shortly. If this all in unsuccessful, I would like to raise sufficient funds to purchase a ticket to return to Denver, Colorado USA where I have friends willing to take me in. I would appreciate the help of anyone who can. Although financial support would be of greatest benefit, any other support would greatly appreciated. Costs include the price of a one way ticket to return home. However, I am also attempting to cover additional expenses such as food and transport in the meantime. I need whatever help I can get as soon as possible so please help me out!
