In Common's website and accounting bills!

In Common is a grass roots community and culture website for Southampton. We aim to promote community cohesion and inclusion as well as celebrating and supporting arts culture and helping those who are often marginalised in mainstream media to have a platform.

We are run from our kitchen tables by a team of volunteers. We have some lovely regular donors as well as the occasional local advertiser but every now and again a bill comes along which we could do with some extra help with.

We are looking to raise £500 to cover website hosting for another year and to cover costs for our longsuffering accountant.

Ideally, we would like to raise more, to allow for a very long overdue website overhaul. So a big stretch target would be £2,500. Again, or website person gives most of his time for free to keep the site going, but this is a big piece of work and we need to pay him for it.

Ultimately, we would like to be able to pay our contributors a wage for their time, because they all do such great work and to allow us to do more of it.

But at the moment, our focus is raising enough to keep the website online.
