Unfortunately, it's a costly process to construct a wig. This is where the donations will help. You can donate as much as you like. A simple $10 donation from everyone is all I'm really asking for. Your donations, paired with my hair, will be a winning combination for a special child.
Why am I doing this??
Imagine waking up one day and finding chunks of your hair missing. What would you do? What would you do if you found out you had an autoimmune disease that attacked the hair follicles and you were going to loose your hair permanently?
This is a reality for so many! I was in a supermarket and over heard a conversation between a child and their parent. The child asked why the other kids were so mean. They didn't ask to be bald. The other kids called them names or laughed and pointed. My heart was crushed. I looked to may waist where the length of my hair hangs and I knew in an instant what I would do! So I'm giving a child their confidence to attend school without the bullying. I'm giving a child hope to be included like everyone their age. I'm giving a child who will become an adult the gift of kindness and letting them know that the world isn't as bad as it may seem.
