<div>Hi, my name is Paulina. Our daughter Maya is 4. She was born prematurely and diagnosed with very rare genetic condition Pallister-Killian Syndrome. Life changed. I had to give up work to look after Maya. Due to hypotonia she can't walk, or even sit by herself. Significant Global Developmental delay means, that physically and mentally Maya will always be "a baby", even when she grows. Due to Dysphagia and high risk of aspiration, she has to be fed via NG tube and requires regular suctioning. Maya is visually impaired and suffers with nystagmus, divergent squint, exotropia, hypermetropia. Maya was also diagnosed with bilateral mixed -hearing loss. When she was two her heart problems started developing. Diagnose was- ascending aortic root dilation and preserved cardiac function.

<div>Maya also suffers with epileptic seizures.

<div>We are desperately trying to improve her quality of life and help our children enjoy time together as a family. Maya, just like her brother loves nature, days out in the country parks and nature reservoirs. Unfortunately Maya has grew off her ordinary buggy and a special needs buggy is very expensive. With the amount of equipment and Maya's growth, she now requires wheelchair accessible car, which we never be able to afford.

Musiałam zrezygnować z pracy, aby opiekować się Mayą. Z powodu hipotonii nie może chodzić, ani nawet samodzielnie siedzieć. Maya, podobnie jak jej brat, uwielbia naturę, spędzając dni w parkach i rezerwatach przyrody. Niestety, Maya wyrosła już ze swojego zwykłego wózka, a wózek dla osób niepełnosprawnych jest bardzo drogi. Ze względu na ilość sprzętu i wzrost Mayi, potrzebuje ona teraz samochodu przystosowanego do wózków inwalidzkich, na który nigdy nie będzie nas stać. Dlatego bardzo prosimy o pomoc. Będziemy bardzo wdzięczni za każdą darowiznę i każdy grosz.
