Improve Kitchen Facilities @ Church Hall/200Fund
Tax deductible
As part of our Bicentenary Celebrations we are creating a ‘200 fund’ and inviting donations towards the improvement of the facilities in our hall.
Our ambition is to enlarge and refit the kitchen, create much needed storage, and bring more daylight in through roof lights to enable this much used building to be ready to serve the community here at Aston Clinton well into the 21st century.
An enlarged kitchen will greatly assist us in supplying meals to folk in the Community, not just at Christmas time, but on a weekly basis. We also envisage developing life-skills that would include simple meal preparation and cooking for young carers and others who struggle with life, other community projects are also in the pipeline.
The congregation will be holding a Gift Day in March and we hope this will go some way towards the required £50,000. In addition, external funding is being pursued from various 'grant' making bodies and we wondered if any within the community would like to contribute to the ‘200 fund’.
If any of the readers of Village Life (past or present) would like to get in touch, details of how to donate to the fund will be given. www.astonclintonbaptist.org/welcome.htm
Thank you very much in advance for your contribution to this cause, this means so much to ACBC and ultimately the Community.
